| In the early 1940's, the Flores Family introduced Coffee into their farm operation, located in Compostela, Nayarit. The Cafe Cumbre Hacienda Miravalles farm, located in the high lands of the Sierra Madre mountain range in western Mexico, is a majestic sample of organic farming. An abundant shade canopy throughout the farm, provides the perfect habitat for birds and insects, while at the same time, is key in producing arabica beans of the highest quality. The Coffee is carefully processed with the latest ecological and electronic technology available, and then exported. |
| As a result of their investment throughout the years, what was once a single farm has now become a thriving Coffee community. The Family recognized as a business and social leaders, introduced environmentally safe water filtering systems in their farm has donated land, and materials for the construction of a school, church, and community plaza. |

The Family's firm commitment to organic farming practices led them to become certified members with the Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA) since 1996. Hacienda Miravalles certifications includes: Bird Friendly Certified by the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center in Washington, D.C. and Kosher Pareve, Mehadrim. |
| Cafe Cumbre's strongest asset is its long term commitment to Coffee. European preparation is strictly supervised by the family for its Hacienda Miravalles trade mark. Its Hacienda Miravalles Supreme Prep is a limited quantity lots made from only from the best beans produced each harvest. |
